After the emergence of the subculture “PMC Ryodan” in Hrodna, the authorities tried to offer teenagers and their parents their leisure options through schools. The state media tell about youth police units and military-patriotic clubs. But the teenagers from Hrodna already attend sections and clubs outside school. Excursions and museums are interesting for them, if there is no ideology in them. Parents want the school not to interfere in their children’s upbringing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t\t

    On March 4, despite the day off, teachers and employees of the juvenile affairs inspectorate were on duty in Hrodna shopping centers. The representatives of the subculture “PMC “Ryodan”, inspired by the fictional gang from the anime “Hunter x Hunter”, announced a meeting there. Belarusian authorities decided to fight against it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It all started in Moscow: there was a mass brawl in the “Aviapark” shopping center. “Offniki” – soccer hooligans – decided to beat up a group of teenagers for their appearance: long hair and bikes with the movement’s logo – a spider. The hooligans began to fight back. This was filmed on video and posted on TikTok. Teenagers decided to unite to stand up for themselves. In just a few days, the subculture came to cities in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In Belarus, teenagers gathered for the first time in Homel. About 200 people were detained on that day, 183 of whom were minors. A criminal case was initiated. After that authorities started to suppress attempts to gather in other cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As of March 14, the Telegram-channel \u201c\u0432\u0440\u0435\u043c\u044f “\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0430\u043d” \u0413\u0440\u043e\u0434\u043d\u043e\u201d<\/em> (“time “redan” Hrodna”) had 29 subscribers. The channel was created on February 27 to tell about what is happening to the movement in Hrodna, “as it is now happening in Russia with redans and skins”. There were also mentions of the movement in TikTok. On the same day they announced meeting in “Trinity” Shopping and Entertainment Center for March 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Even then, users were worried that those who came would be fractured or detained by OMON. “I understand that you want the right to vote, but life is such that such cultures and LGBT people are disadvantaged”, – user with nickname Akim considered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
